Brittany has the largest
coastline in France. There are many beaches within easy reach,
ranging from the bustling port of Binic to the almost deserted
stretches of sand at St. Efflam favoured by horse riders and
people flying kites. Kerlouët is a pleasant 40 minutes
drive from the nearest.
Brittany's close proximity to the sea ensures that restaurants
offer a variety of fresh fish and seafood. Meat and locally
grown vegetables are also plentiful.
There
are a variety of large, bustling markets in the area. Guingamp
offers a number of supermarkets and stores as well as small,
fascinating shops, cafés and restaurants, either adjacent
to or within the pretty central square.
